MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream is influenced by his international impact. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was winner of the Colombian Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song in 2017. His debut album ADN was made available through La Industria Inc., a Medellin-based Sony distribution company. The Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. The following year, he teamed up with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which reached number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. Mala Influencia was his collaborative effort with Noriel in 2020. Following that season, Dopamina became his second album. In 2021, he was in a duo with TINI for her hit streaming single Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo is a musician who was born into a musical family. Both his parents also played the guitar. In his interviews, he said music participation as mandatory. As a child, was playing the ukulele and the piano. Although he initially wanted to work as a vet, Julian convinced him that taking lessons with an Cuban music teacher could change the direction of his career.
